» ‘tower of learning’
Came home from the gym this morning to find the Fed Ex man had just delivered the last of my books from Amazon. These are all of the ones I could round up — I think it’s just missing my two big text books, plus all the extra books for Lit for Children I haven’t picked out yet (which will come from the library, and hence be free — free is good good good). It’s a few more than I’d listed in the last entry, but they were good surprises, like Eggers’ A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius.
The real reason for the delay in my update is below. I wanted to sew him something nice before taking his glamor shots, but after he rejected four different loin cloth attempts (all wrapped in the style of Borneo, too), I gave up and went with this.
His name is Thom Nolan and I love him. I love love love him. I am scheming outfits (and he is scheming seductions; he’s had his eye on Action Man for the past week and a half). Kathy is wonderful. And now I am putting my foot down, and I shall not update again until she has. Hopefully with some new music. :D
