brought to you from the: 'why I should cut back on my rp-ing' department.
AAAAAAAAAAAEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHH!
October 19, 2005
fuck you too, God.
Let's just say that the crowning glory of my day was falling flat on my face, in public, on campus. And I'm not talking tripping. I'm talking arms-flailing, skidding, trying to catch myself on hands and knees but not managing it and landing on my stomach falling.
So I'm going to make up a meme. It's the meme of angryness.
I hate:
[1] my electric bill
[2] teaching
[3] controlling other people's grades. (Well, I suppose that's 2 again, but oh well)
[4] my knee
[5] my propensity to fall over
I am sick of:
[1] people
[2] angst
[3] being so far away from everyone
[4] my own mess
[5] my tummy hurting.
I would rather be:
[1] in Minnesota
[2] in a small cafe in Italy, sipping some sort of red wine and eating pizza. Real pizza
[3] rich
[4] anywhere but here
[5] in the Buffyverse. Though I'd probably end up being that girl who's eaten in the first blurb to establish that there's a new danger.

Jacked from Kathy, despite not being tagged!
10 years ago:
1. I was preparing for a bike trip, and learning to ride a bike for the third or fourth time. I was terrified of it.
2. I was taking a gym class where we went rollerblading.
3. I was at a school that built up my mind, but broke my heart.
4. I lived in my head, and listened to the Labyrinth soundtrack over and over.
5. I was not speaking to the best friend I had. It was probably a good thing.
5 years ago:
1. I was diagnosed with ADD.
2. I was applying to colleges, including one I did not at all want to go to. Ah, Truman, I miss you now.
3. I sang in front of my whole school, which led to singing at a mass for hundreds of girls and their mothers. Which led to being Marian Paroo, my High-school triumph.
4. I was learning to oil paint.
5. I considered not going to college, but running to California to try and start an acting career.
1 year ago:
1. I was very lonely.
2. I was directing a one-act. I loves my actors, so, SO much. They made my year.
3. I became mildly addicted to second-hand smoke. Did you know that Nicotine is one of the most effective drugs against Tourettes?
4. I discovered the joy of myofascial and cranio-sacral work being done on my spine. GET IT, IF YOU CAN.
5. I had my last golden fall in Kirksville, dreading every day the few days after Halloween, daylight savings-time.
Yesterday:
1. I was very lonely.
2. I was lonely.
3. I imagined moving to Minneapolis.
4. I moped around like a gigantic ho. (and continue to do so)
5. I reclined on our new chair that we found in the trash place. (Thank you, Dumpster Gods)
5 snacks I like:
1. Chocolate Chips
2. Roasted Nuts
3. Orchard Apples
4. Cheese (the odd and tangy sorts you can buy from specialty shops. Or Wensleydale, in England, where it is still slightly-damp and crumbly)
5. Salt-and-vinegar anything.
5 songs I know all the words to:
1. "Magic Dance" from Labyrinth...or, okay, any song from Labyrinth
2. "I am the very model of a modern major general" by Gilbert and Sullivan.
3. "The patter song" by Gilbert and Sullivan
4. "The Ocean" - Dar Williams
5. "Now that I'm a woman" - The Last Unicorn
If I had a million dollars:
1. I would buy a house. Not a giant one. But not a tiny one.
2. I'd invest 500,000 in diverse sorts of things.
3. I'd go to Europe.
4. I'd invite Someone to come live in my house for free until she figured out things.
5. I would stop teaching, but not stop going to school.
5 things I would never wear:
1. A chastity belt.
2. Something with holes cut out for nipples.
3. Bright Yellow.
4. A clown wig, again. Those hairs fucking hurt when they get in your eyes. Sad, that my career as a model ended so quickly.
5. A nun's habit. Again.
Favorite TV shows:
1. Buffy
2. Xena
3. Forever Knight
4. ER
5. ....the rest of them all seem to be equal. Ah well.
5 bad habits:
1. Procrastination.
2. Procrastination.
3. Leaving a light on in another room just because I find walking into the dark creepy.
4. Leaving dishes on the floor. I picked it up from Carrie, I swear!
5. Picking at myself. (Which sounds gross, I know, but I swear I can't help it. It's classified as involuntary self-injury, from what I've read)
5 biggest joys:
1. Seeing my people.
2. Reading those things that make me happiest.
3. Chocolate.
4. Going back to sleep on a lazy morning, knowing that I don't have to get up.
5. Flying dreams.
5 fictional people I want to date:
1. Jareth, the Goblin King. I can't help it, I swear!
2. Lara Croft. (You know you want her too)
3. Faith.
4. The Major, from the Ghost in the Shell tv series.
5. Odo, from Deep Space Nine. Not because I've a crush on him, particularly, but Dammit who wouldn't like to try out a shape-shifter, even if it's just for a couple weeks before the deadpan dry humor begins to grate?
5 people I tag to do this:
1. Matt
2. Brenda
3. Bryce
4. Amy
5. Beth!

Jacked from Rachel.
Hi, my name is: Stephanie
I was born in: Saint Louis, Missouri. I don't know what hospital.
I currently live in: Baton Rouge, LA
I go to school at: Lousiana State University. I'll be in school until I die!
I work for: Lousiana State University. Well, I guess it's working.
My favorite television show is: Buffy. I miss it. Then Xena, I also miss that. Damn it.
My favorite meal consists of: I like food. So....lots of things.
I last hugged: Hunter. Wow, I don't hug people so often here.
I last emailed: Rachel.
I last phoned: Sukanya. But I don't phone many people - I last talked on the phone to my mom. Who's left for a cruise by now, with my parents luck.
I last cried: I think I cried a little the last time I got a package from Rachel.
I last made fun of: Dude, I make fun of everything.
'
I am looking forward to: Halloween, even though it is the last gasp of sanity I usually have.
I have never: smoked pot. Yes, this is a pertinent thing at the moment.
I have always: Been self-conscious.
I am always without: a watch, nowadays. Since mine broke, and I haven't found one I like yet.
Something that annoys me is: cell phones in class.
I always find comfort in: Labyrinth.
The most important thing in the world to me is: Air/Water/Food. Come on, people, this is impossible.
Something few people understand about me: How difficult it can be to keep the days straight, to separate time from time and divide it up into the units other people have so little problem with. The mush that everything becomes, sometimes - why I return library books two months late.

Okay, Dar. And I don't care if she is too easy for me, she's practically the only artist whose songs I know enough about to use.
