I woke in the middle of last night laughing. My memory of the dream was scattered away by my surprise; I’d never woken up laughing before. I highly recommend it.

I also highly recommend free lunches at nice restaurants. It’s hours later and I’m still stuffed full of exquisite tomato basil soup, and a salad that included grapes someone had peeled and cut nickel-thin, and that glorious apple cobbler (which I last had two snowstorms ago, huh — apparently there’s something about picturesque winter weather that makes me want caramely cobbler). I really shouldn’t've had dessert since Jo and I are going out for Restaurant Week tonight, but — well, I did. And as long as I can get un-full in the next two and a half hours, I shan’t regret it. Fingers crossed.

Also, does anyone know where February went? I seem to have mislaid nearly all of mine. (Eight days to San Diego?! How did that happen?)

If you find yours, see if mine is with it (and maybe my January too). We’re 1/6 of the way through 2007…. wtf?

dood, i can’t believe it’s already march. on the one hand, i am totally ::squee:: about your imminent visitation, on the other hand i am totally ::eek:: about finals and stuff. i am glad you and b are coming to visit and also that it’s my last week of winter quarter, but i am totally freaked that i have a show and finals all squished together. although… it’s really one final exam, one final paper, and one final presentation… the last bit of which is more of a gallery showing at the black box. it’s too bad you’ll be gone for that. but then, i don’t know what your feelings are on conceptual art. most people don’t like it. hell, sometimes i don’t like it. but i’d hope people show up because this thing is going to be an experience. anyway… see you soon! i can’t wait to take you guys to jyoti! and mmmmmmmapplecobbler.

I’m exciiiited. :D Sad about your gig being cancelled, but I’m really not picky about where I get to hear Kathytunes, as long as I get to hear them. Also, I don’t really know what my feelings are on conceptual art, having not experienced much of it. So put me down as ‘curious’, and I would totally come if it were while I was out there! Take video?

Josh suggested we do a completely acoustic beach show, but I’m concerned that 1) we won’t be able to score a pit and 2) without amplification, I’ll get drowned out. I already get drowned out during rehearsal if it’s not something that I belt, I don’t know how I’m going to compete with the ocean, as well.

It end up in my spam for some reason — I can’t figure out why (I still really don’t understand how it works). It didn’t have links or anything and I’ve approved comments by you before. Silly spam thingie!

Aaanyhow — a beach show sounds awesome! Though not being able to hear you sounds a lot less awesome. I came into work this morning to find a print-out about the San Diego weather my boss left on my desk, though, and it’s supposed to be nothing but sun all. week. long. I’m so excited.

Did Kathy use the same e-mail address to post that she’s done in the past? That would be one reason it’d end up in moderation. We had that problem on More Cooler a couple of times.

As for the beach, just bring a megaphone and sing into that. Best solution ever. That still meets the acoustic definition Neil Young uses for the Bridge School shows since they’re acoustics but allowed microphones. ;-) I’m in for whatever!

Hmm. I log in to post.

    LOL, Bryce.

I wonder if we’d be able to set up amps on the marina. I know they have concerts by the bay… hmmmm.

Or just make sure to play the guitars really quietly and we’ll all just huddle really close together and it’ll all be fine.
