When: Aug 13-23
What: One compact car. Three twenty-somethings.
Where: Minneapolis, MN to Amherst, MA.

Thaaat’s right, I’m a-takin’ a road trip.

Carrie and I plan to drive from Minneapolis to Chicago, where we will meet up with Steph at Katie and John’s. Saturday we’re going to Wizard World Chicago (or at least Steph and I are) to meet Joss Whedon and Amber Benson and Kevin Smith and lots of other comic people, and I’ll probably spend way too much money (which means I really really need a job, and grr to everyone who hasn’t responded to my resume). Then Sunday we’re on to Canada, where we’ll stay in some undisclosed location more or less near Toronto, so that the next day we can see Niagra Falls as we drive past. (Or, yaknow, stop and get out and actually look.) And then it’s on to Amherst, and the general hanging out on the east coast, the going to Boston (and maybe seeing Lion King) and possibly New York or wherever else we feel like, because everything’s just all sandwiched in close-like up there.

I haven’t seen Katie and John in ages and ages, so I’m way excited about Chicago. And of course there’s the whole driving across half the country with some of the coolest people in it.

After that, I shall diligently save my money for (in no particular order):

• an apartment
• a computer
• California/Vegas
• Europe with Mel (and whomever else ::coughKatieandStephcough::)
